How long is the standard skip bin hire period?
All Skips4U hires include up to 10 days as standard. This timeframe suits most household cleanups, renovation jobs, and commercial projects.
If you need extra time, just let us know before pickup. We can usually extend your hire for a small additional fee depending on availability.
What types of waste can go into a skip bin?
Our bins are suitable for most household, garden, renovation, and construction waste.

What size skip bin do I need?
As a guide:
2–3m³: small cleanups or household rubbish
4–6m³: renovations, garden waste, medium projects
10–15m³ hook bins: construction sites, large cleanups, or commercial projects
If unsure, it’s often better to choose the next size up — overfilling a small bin can’t be transported, but a larger bin can handle extra waste safely.
How soon can you deliver a skip bin?
We generally need at least 24 hours’ notice, but in many areas we can arrange same-day delivery if booked early.

Yes — but they must be loaded last and there’s an extra disposal fee:
Mattress: $165 incl. GST each
Tyre: $71.50 incl. GST each
This must be mentioned and paid for at time of booking.
